This policy describes how StockSnap (the "App") handles user information.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects and uses the following information.

Data you enter in the App

User profile

All of this information is stored only on your device (local storage). It is never transmitted to the developer's servers or to any third party.

2. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements (free tier only).

AdMob may use the following information to show ads relevant to your interests:

Premium users see no advertisements.

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App may request tracking permission through the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. Granting permission is optional. If you decline, we serve non-personalized ads.

You can change this at any time under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

3. Payments

The App uses Apple's standard In-App Purchase system.

Purchase information is managed by Apple. The developer never has access to your payment details (such as credit card numbers).

For purchase history or refund requests, please contact Apple Support.

4. Data Export

All users can export and import their in-App data.

Exported data is saved to your device as a JSON file. You are responsible for managing and sharing that file.

5. Notifications

The App may request notification permission in order to send expiry reminders.

Notification permission is optional and can be changed at any time in Settings. Notification data is processed only on your device and is never sent externally.

Data created in the App is stored only on your device.

To delete your data:

Consumption statistics are automatically deleted 180 days after they are recorded. Purchase information is managed by Apple.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer accepts no liability for any damages arising from use of the App, including health effects from expired food or loss of data.

10. Changes to This Policy

The developer may update this policy as needed. Significant changes will be announced in the App or in the App Store release notes.
